10 Things That Make People Choose To Buy A Particular Vehicle Model

What are the things that make you decide that a specific car model is the one for you? Here are the top 10 answer to that question.

1. Reliability/Durability
If you’re gonna invest money on a car, you’d want it to last as long as possible without trips to the car servicing every week for repair. This is why the top priority of car buyers is the vehicle’s reliability and durability.

2. Interior Comfort
More legroom, power-adjustable seats, seat ventilation, massaging functionality, and
rear-seat foot rest are just some of the comfortable features more and more car buyers favor.

3. Exterior Styling
Who wants to drive a visually unappealing car? No one! So while it may seem superficial to some, still you can’t deny that exterior styling is an important factor in buying a vehicle.

4. Gas Mileage
Why spend more money when there's a cost saving alternative? There are a lot of fuel economy-friendly car model these days that consumers can choose from that don’t just save money but help reduce carbon footprint and increase energy sustainability.

5. Quality Of Workmanship
You can really tell a high-end car apart from not because of the quality of workmanship. A car just looks more finished and expensive without necessarily costing more when it is built well and better.

6. Convenient Or Likeable Dealer
Cordial dealers who go out of their way to make things easier for their clients sell more cars than those who aren’t. This is because consumers like to get the best deals possible and be treated well.

7. Performance
Well, this may not be always at the top reason for a person to buy a car but this will always be among the factors that will be considered. Otherwise it’ll be the main source of problem the car owner will face in a daily basis as well as the reason for frequent car repairs.

8. Advanced Technology
Yes, it’s fancy but when your car is equipped with built-in navigation system, have multiple USB ports, touch screen options, voice recognition, and many more it definitely makes driving easier and comfortable.

9. Image Of The Car
Whether you’re the mysterious type, cute, practical, family guy, or tough one there’s a car that will fit your image. Most of the time people choose a car that compliments their personality.

10. Safety
Last but definitely not the least is the safety features. We all know that it’s hard to predict what will happen on the road no matter you responsible you are. This is why the more safety feature the car has the better.

Top 10 Car And Driving Tricks To Make Your Life Easier

Car problems can be avoidable, but you can avoid being stressed out about them if you have some tricks up your sleeves to get you out of some situations. Here are some of them that you may find in handy.

1. Hang A Tennis Ball In Your Garage
This should help you know when to stop backing up and hitting the wall with your bumper, especially with tight garage spaces.

2. Take A Picture Of The Spot Where You Parked
Admit it or not, we all forget where we parked our car sometimes. Save time looking around and avoid getting stressed out by taking a picture of the area.

3. Pay Attention To The Exit Sign Position

More often than not, the position of the exit sign indicates which side of the road is the exit. So if you’re not familiar with the highway you’re driving, you might wanna check it out.

4. Cool Your Car Down Without Blasting The Air Conditioner

Air conditioner consumes gasoline, avoid wasting fuel by rolling down one window then open and close the door on the other side a couple of times to let the hot air out.

5. Use Your Chin To Increase The Range Of Car-Retrieval Signal

This may seem like an old trick but surprisingly, many people still don’t know about it. The fluid in your head turns it into an adequate conductor. So putting the car key fob on your chin increases its range.

6. Use Shoe Organizer For Your Travel Essentials

If you travel a lot, especially with kids, putting shoe organizers at the back of the seats can be used as extra storage for all your supplies.

7. Plunger Can Fix Small Dents

Try pushing a plumber firmly against a small dent and then pull it out to see if the dent goes back to normal. If it does, it may just save you the trip to car servicing shop.

8. Create A GPS Stand

If you don’t have built-in GPS feature in your car and you use your phone as GPS a rubber band can be used as phone holder.

9. Get Directions From Fast Food Delivery Place

If you ever get lost in an unfamiliar city or country, this is the place to ask for directions. Why? Well, they deliver food to different places around your current location so they know how to get around more than an average local.

10. Avoid Being Conned By A Mechanic

Whether you’re planning to take your vehicle for car polishing or something went wrong on the road, you can avoid being duped. Ask the mechanic about any part in the car that you’re sure is in good shape. If the guy says it needs to be fixed, drive away.

6 Reasons Why Millennial Generation No Longer Invest On Cars And Houses

6 Reasons Why Millennial Generation No Longer Invest On Cars And Houses

The definition of success has definitely changed over the years, if you ask different people in different age bracket that is. If you ask elderly individuals, they’d tell you that having a stable white-collar job, a house, and a car, and savings, means success.

However, millennial people don’t share that opinion anymore. Nowadays, experiences weigh more than possessions or properties. They rarely invest on houses, even less on cars. Intriguing? Here’s some explanation why.

1. They Have Other Values
This would have to be the main reason for this. What seems important for older generations during their time is no longer as valuable today. Not only that financial difficulty affects their priorities, making them scared to make serious loans, they also prefer flexible schedules and financial and geographical independence. They value the idea of living in the moment and relishing every moment of it than working and preparing for the future.

2. They’re No Longer Interested In Huge Investments
According to statistics, modern young people change jobs every three years on average. So, this makes them less likely to invest in huge and long term things like car or house. Aside from that, huge ventures makes a person feel tied up which hinders the flexibility on money, jobs, and locations that they like.

3. Owning Something No Longer Appeals To Them As Much As Enjoying Life
Millennial find themselves more happy spending money on experiences like travelling and trying new activities than collecting material things. Just look at how much post different social media platforms have about new country or city visited, new hangout spot with friends, new hobby, new workout routine, etc. Young people these days will rather experience everything life has to offer than be stuck at the same wake up-work-go home-eat-sleep-repeat route.

4. Experiences Help Make More Friends
This is why social media is such a huge part of their daily lives. Younger generations like to feel connected or involved with more people and more activities. The more friends they have and the more events they’re busy with the more fun life is for them which also equate success to them.

5. Buying Things Can Be Worrisome
Purchasing expensive things like house and car makes people worried about maintaining their condition. For them this means spending money on car repair if it malfunctions or even gets scratched, not to mention the fear of being robbed or carjacked will always be at the back of their minds.

6. Every Purchase’s Price Tend Drop Overtime
It may not be necessarily true all the time but it happens. Not all house or car turns out to be worth as much when reselling them. Watching their parents work their entire lives to invest in such material things and not being able to enjoy life don’t help either.  So for them what is the point of spending money, time, and energy on those if there’s a better option?

Post Car Accident Measures You Should Keep In Mind

You always think it’ll never happen to you until it does. Car accidents can be disorienting and stressful. It’s one of those things you want to get out of immediately. Having said those, it’s better to know how to deal with accidents in case it happens to you than to be completely clueless.

1. Don’t Leave The Accident Site
Who wants to hang around stressful conditions, right? However, you have to remember to wait for the authorities to clear your departure, because they will need information from you. Otherwise you may have to face serious criminal repercussions, especially if there are injured people involved.

2. Call The Police
Don’t assume that there will be no need for authorities when an accident happens, no matter how small it may be. Calling the police is necessary because they file the report of the incident for you, which may help you with insurance claims and the car repair expenses reimbursement. Just remember to list the names and badge numbers of the attending officers.

3. Contact A Lawyer
In case anyone involved in the accident got injured or had major damage in their vehicles, seeking legal advice from a professional is always recommended. This way you’ll have someone represent you and deal with the legal consequences, whether you’re the one at fault or not.

4. Photograph Possible Evidences In The Scene
Nowadays, testimonies from the people in the accident involved as well as the possible witnesses aren’t enough to stand in court. You’ll be able to make your case stronger if you have solid proofs like pictures and videos. Aside from that, it will be easier for you to claim compensation from your insurance company when you’re armed with evidence rather than just statements.

5. Exchange Information
You need full names, driver’s license and license plate numbers, contact information (phone number, address, and insurance information) of the other driver or passengers involved. The more information you have, the easier it will be for you to deal with the aftermath of the accident whether or not a legal case and insurance claims happens. Just imagine when you get your car repaired and you have no way to contact the driver who owes it to you. You’d end up shelling out for all the expenses then.
